A Service Company
English Writing Help (EWH) was started by two professionals: Kimberly Davison-Fujioka a native speaker of English and university English Instructor. She has a graduate degree in Applied Linguistics and taught English As A Second Language at the university level, both in the U.S. and Japan, for over 20 years. She currently teaches part-time, at the University of California, Berkeley. Formerly, she taught at Gunma University and Saitama University, in the Graduate Dept. of Economics in Japan. In addition, she has long standing experience in the professional research writing community. She had sat on the editorial board of several professional journals and health magazines. Dr. Fujioka is a medical researcher at the University of California at Berkeley. He is a graduate of Tokyo University and The University of Pittsburgh Medical School and UC Davis. Dr. Fujioka has been doing scientific research for over 15 years. He has published in Japan and in the U.S. Dr. Fujioka does all the translation for EWH. He is currently a researcher in the Dept. of Environmental Toxicology at UC Berkeley. Kimberly Fujioka and Dr. Fujioka have trained all of the staff at EWH.Every one of our staff are highly educated in the sciences and native speakers and writers of English. In addition, to providing excellent English writing and correction services, our staff have published research of their own in a scientific or medical field. We currently offer Japanese translation. At a later time, we plan on offering Korean translation.



History
Dr. and Mrs. Fujioka started working together while in Japan in 1999 when they began helping Japanese researchers with their medical publications. At that time, Dr. Fujioka was a resercher for Shin-Etsu Chemical Company--the second largest polymer producing chemical company in the world, next to Dupont--and Mrs. Fujioka was teaching at Gunma University. Dr. Fujioka came to Davis, CA to work with Dr. Shibamoto in the Dept.of Environmental Toxicology in 2002.At that time, Mrs. began teaching English at UC Davis. In 2006 they transferred to UC Berkeley. Dr. and Mrs. Fujioka live in faculty housing on the campus of UC Berkeley. They have a 9 year old son, Kazuumi Fujioka, who speaks English and Japanese. Mrs. Fujioka works at UCB with many international scholars and visiting professors from Japan and Korea and other countries, helping them to write and publish their scientific, medical and academic research in professional journals.



Future Goals
English Writing Help intends on expanding their academic writing business to help international scholars in all countries. Mrs. Fujuioka and Dr. Fujioka have trained many staff already, so they are waiting to help you with your English. Most of our current clients are from Japan and Korea. In the future, we hope to include Korean translation services too. The staff at EWH know how competitive it is in the academic, scientific and medical fields and how necessary it is to publish. We are here to help you with your English, so you can be just as competitive as native born speakers of English. Let us help you get your research published. In the future, more research will be shared from scholars all over the world. This is through the use of English. American doctors and scholars are just waiting to hear about the current scientific and medical and research being conducted in Japan and Korea but they can't read Japanese or Korean. So have to rely on you to write up your work in English then to publish it in a professional journal in the U.S., then they can read it. .
